Jabali United is a community based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in Brooklyn, NY in 2020
Jabali United recognizes that in order to really make an impact it requires collaboration and a collective to create unlimited resources and expand the scope of delivering solutions to those in need.
The word “Jabali” is from Swahili and symbolizes “solid as a rock”.
Jabali's mission is to provide services to those in need or provide guidance and direction for where help can be obtained. Our approach exemplifies uniting forces through liaisons since this is a way to provide an unlimited scope of resources.
Partnerships, affiliations, memberships, collaborations and other means are all utilized and significantly strengthens the outlook of Jabali's ability to respond and also places the organization at the forefront of liaising with like minded entities. Ultimately we work anywhere and everywhere.
Through technology and partnerships, we can provide assistance to individuals, locally, nationally and globally.
Jabali United was formed to address the growing need of specific individuals who need support as a result of exclusion and marginalization within specific communities. The focus of the organization is to expand the scope of self-improvement by utilizing Jabali United’s staff of qualified personnel, and through liaisons with other organizations, agencies, and institutions. In many instances, individuals do not have access to necessary resources and services or may find it difficult to locate places to go to for help.
Previously incarcerated individuals are regularly limited in their desire to integrate into society and rebuild their lives and in most cases are eliminated from job opportunities. Those with mental health challenges, limited skills, and education, or extremely difficult family circumstances are misunderstood and not provided the chance they need in order to change their situation. Military veterans may be lacking skills and also suffer from mental challenges, and many of our youth struggle to access programs and opportunities which can enrich their growth experience.
Jabali United is focused on these types of realities and has positioned itself to be able to make a huge impact by placing a primary focus on acknowledging these problems and helping to provide solutions. Jabali United Promotes a 3 Pronged Approach
